The Swiss QR bill, ready in one minute.

The QR bill has been the Swiss invoicing standard since 1 October 2022. It replaces the old red and orange payment slips. Its payment part contains the Swiss QR Code, which bundles all the payment information: IBAN, amount, reference and addresses. Your client scans it with their e-banking or mobile banking app and pays in seconds.

A QR-IBAN is identified by its institution identifier (positions 5 to 9) in the range 30000 to 31999. It requires a 27-digit QR reference and enables automatic payment reconciliation. With a regular IBAN, the structured reference is optional (Creditor Reference SCOR or none). The generator detects your IBAN type and applies the correct rule automatically.

It is derived from your invoice number. With a QR-IBAN, a 27-digit QR reference is created with its check digit (recursive modulo 10). With a regular IBAN, a SCOR reference compliant with ISO 11649 is created. Payments can then be matched automatically to the right invoice in your accounting.

Yes. The payment part follows the SIX Swiss Implementation Guidelines for the QR bill: standardised 210 × 105 mm dimensions, Swiss cross, prescribed fonts and sizes, IBAN and reference validation, and structured addresses — the only format allowed since November 2025. The PDF prints on ordinary white A4 paper.

No. The invoice and the Swiss QR Code are generated entirely in your browser: nothing is sent to any server. Your business details can be saved locally on your device for your next visit, and you can delete them at any time.

Nothing. The Lite version is free, with no registration and no limit on the number of invoices. A Pro version is in the works: logo on the invoice, email sending and payment tracking.
